Craig Ferguson has been an American citizen for four years, celebrating the anniversary of his swearing-in ceremony on February 1st, 2008. The Scottish-born comedian, actor, director, writer and producer first visited the United States as a teen and strongly identified with American aspirations and attitudes. Congratulations, Craig!

Letterman Anniversary
Wednesday is the 30th anniversary of David Letterman‘s first appearance as the host of a late night talk show, Late Night with David Letterman on NBC. Local NBC stations are reporting about the occasion and mentioning Craig.  And the Los Angeles Times covered the story as well.

Sobbing Over Sloths
Apparently, Kristen Bell likes sloths. A lot. No, really… a lot. When she realized that her boyfriend was bringing a sloth to her house to visit on her birthday, she freaked out with excitement. Really, really freaked out:

Tonight’s Guests

Wednesday on the Late Late Show, the unique entity that is actor William Shatner spends some time with Craig and actress Kathryn Hahn has been added as a last-minute guest. Craig tweeted:

Crikey that @WilliamShatner is gosh darned hilarious on the show tonight. But I wouldn’t sit on his knee….or would I?  #no

Then on Thursday, actor Daniel Radcliffe joins Craig, along with comedian Mark Forward.
