According to the Los Angeles Times, CBS is considering selling its iconic studios at CBS Television City, where The Late Late Show has been based since its debut with hosts Tom Snyder from 1995-1999, Craig Kilborn from 1999-2004, Craig Ferguson from 2005-2014 and James Corden since 2015. It is unclear if potential future buyers would continue to utilize the facility as a television studio or make way for housing or retail space. The network’s main studio location today is on Radford Avenue in Studio City, which includes the network’s west coast corporate offices and studios for several current network shows. One series of Celebrity Name Game was shot at Radford. Along with The Late Late Show, other programs currently housed at Television City include The Price Is Right, ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, and the CBS soap operas The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. The newest version of Fox’s American Idol is scheduled to be produced there as well.
In a 2013 Late Late Show monologue, Craig talks about the opening of an ABBA museum in Stockholm, Sweden.
