Emmy Nomination for Craigcf cng sl
Craig Ferguson has been nominated once again for a daytime Emmy Award for best talk show host. Craig won the award last year for his work on Celebrity Name Game. This year, his fellow nominees include Brooke Burns, host of The Chase, Steve Harvey of Family Feud, Wayne Brady from Let’s Make a Deal, and Billy Gardell, host of Monopoly Millionaires’ Club. The awards ceremony will be held at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles on May 1st. As usual, the event will not be televised, but will be live streamed on the Emmy website. Good luck, Craig! Meanwhile, more taping dates have been announced for Celebrity Name Game in April. If you live in or will be visiting the greater Los Angeles area, come to a taping!

‘Crunch Time’ Taping Coming Soon
Sharp-eyed readers like @Colleen_Byrne noticed a gap in the April tapings for Celebrity Name Game, and for good reason: Production for Craig’s NBC sitcom pilot Crunch Time has been scheduled for April 11, and April 16-22. We suspect the 11th may be a table read, where the actors can read through the full script together and see how the lines work, which would give the writers a few days to make any needed changes before rehearsals begin. Crunch Time will be recorded at NBC Universal. We’ll keep an eye out for more details.

Get A Clue
CF Jeopardy ClueIf you become a clue on Jeopardy, does that mean you’ve made it? Craig Ferguson has been the subject of several clues in the past decade, and he popped up again recently. As Twitter user @MrLimbs noticed, one “answer” included Craig’s name and said he is currently the host of “this lively game show.” And of course, the “question” was, “What is Celebrity Name Game?” Australian uber-fan @bec_giddy also saw a clue featuring Craig on the game show The Chase, asking which Doctor Who star played in a band with him. The answer was the current Doctor, Peter Capaldi.

Catalogues Too?CF Doppleganger
Twitterer @souphead noticed an ad from London clothier Charles Tyrwhitt, featuring a model that looks a bit like Craig. She tweeted:

@CraigyFerg Did you know Charles Tyrwhitt, fancy shirt seller uses your doppelganger in their ads? #askcraigferguson

That Face Mash Thingy
On Celebrity Name Game, they’re trying a new kind of clue that mashes up the photos of two celebrities. The producers call it a “double take,” but Craig has a hard time remembering it:
