Tour Moves NorthCentre in the Square Kitchener sl
As Craig Ferguson departs Maine on Tuesday evening, he’ll be starting one of the Canadian legs of his New Deal Tour, with stops in Kitchener, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton and London, Ontario. Then after a short break for some television tapings in Los Angeles, he’ll be back on the east coast and Midwest to round out the month. Are you seeing Craig live and in person? Please share your stories and non-flash photos with us! We’d be delighted to pass them along to the rest of the robot skeleton army. Just use our Contact Us form, or a tweet us a link to your blog. Please, no video, no Snaps and no Vines allowed at the shows.

Craig has been doing a bunch of radio, television and newspaper interviews about the tour (as well as promoting his television shows), including a backstage interview at Hofstra University, the Troy Record newspaper, a great interview with Northeast Public Radio, a Westhampton online news site, a fun visit with the Bill and Suzy radio show near Troy, and silive.com on Staten Island, plus exclaim.ca and the Ottawa Citizen previewed his visit. Thanks to many skellies for links to stories about Craig this week and to @bgrhubarb, who notes that Troy Walker, Chris Voth, Phil Palisoul and Sam Adams opened for Craig in Denver, and Mark Forward is up front through at least October 4.

More Tour Stops
Wild Horse Pass ChandlerCraig has continued to add stops to the tour, including a bunch in the west in December: Chandler, Arizona (near Phoenix); Eugene and Medford, Oregon; along with Redwood, Thousand Oaks, Chico and Turlock, California. A few of those dates are simply listed on the tour website but have no venues, times or ticket links quite yet. We’ll add them to our list as soon as we hear more details. In the meantime, you can see all of the confirmed venues, dates, times and ticket links on our Live Comedy Tour page. Thanks to the RSA’s @Whyterose713, @ChandlersDame, @bgrhubarb and more hobos for keeping an eye on the ever-growing list of dates.

Join Or DieJoin or Die Tattoo
The media has been buzzing about Craig’s new television show, coming in January to the History Channel, called Join Or Die. Craig tweeted that he’s excited about the show, which will feature freewheeling conversations about American history and contemporary issues. Will you be in the greater Los Angeles area in October and want to attend a taping of the show? It’ll have a studio audience. Contact our friends at 1iota, who used to book audiences for the Late Late Show. They’ll hook you up. The History Channel picked up 16 episodes to start. Among the outlets covering the story are Deadline.com, the Associated Press, UPI, Uproxx, Entertainment Weekly, Splitsider, the New York Post and CBS. Thanks to the RSA’s @Mark_ca, @JBrianCoyle and other skellies for tweeting more news about the show and tickets for tapings.

Words Matter
Craig is among the celebrities lending a hand to the United Nations, to help address the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Take a look at the video they produced:
