Oh, Tom
It’s been seven years since the original host of The Late Late Show on CBS, Tom Snyder, passed away. Tom was a funny and tenacious interviewer, with decades of experience in television news, a national talk radio program and as host of The Tomorrow Show on NBC. He was also known to say things from time to time that weren’t the most tactful, but always with a twinkle in his eye. The industry website MediaBistro.com recently had a great story about what happened when Tom said something about trying to book his first guest for the LLS.
