Craig Ferguson‘s new stand up comedy special I’m Here To Help is available on demand from Netflix. If past releases are any indication, we anticipate the special will be available on DVD by mid-June of 2013. We’ll keep you posted on any official announcements as the date draws closer.

One of Scotland’s great tourist attractions is Loch Ness. Some say the deep lake is home of a prehistoric monster, nicknamed “Nessie.” Last summer, the Daily Mail newspaper printed a story featuring a new photograph that stirred up the debate over the monster’s existence.

Josh’s Film Kickstarted
Josh in Nowhere GirlJosh Robert Thompson will soon be appearing in his first leading role in a feature film, Nowhere Girl. The independent film, directed by Jed Rigney, was able to complete its shooting schedule in a remarkable two weeks and earlier this week, appealed to fans on Kickstarter to help fund post-production. In a matter of just a couple of days, they were able to meet their $12,000 goal and can move ahead with the project. Josh tweeted:

In the earliest days, after Geoff was built by the Mythbusters Grant Imahara, the robot skeleton’s voice was pre-recorded by Craig, with a Dalek-style electronic sound. Then, Josh improved on the concept by creating a pre-recorded voice based loosely on Star Trek’s George Takei, cartoon icon Snagglepuss and other influences. And after a while, it became apparent that having the sidekick able to respond in the moment would be more funny and more effective, Josh was brought in full-time. On Saturday, Josh tweeted his thanks:

Casting is believed to be underway with filming planned for later this year.
