Craig to Appear on Katie’s Show:
Katie with CraigCraig Ferguson will be appearing Katie Couric‘s daytime talk show sometime soon. The RSA’s sharp-eyed @marc_ca noticed that Craig is on the list of guests scheduled to be taped for her show on Friday, April 26th. Couric often tapes several episodes ahead, and her website has not yet listed when Craig will appear, but we’ll be sure to pass it along as a DVR alert as soon as we see a confirmed date.

Actress Kelly Osbourne, who was due to be a guest on the Late Late Show last week, tweeted a photo of what must have been her reason for backing out: She was badly sunburned. Let’s hope she’ll have an opportunity to appear on the show again soon after soaking in a bath of aloe vera lotion for a while.

Craig to be Honored with Comedy Award
Craig taps the CameraCraig Ferguson will receive the Banff World Media Festival’s Peter Ustinov Comedy Award this summer at the famed resort area in Canada. The award recognizes a creative talent that has made an outstanding comedic contribution to the media industry. Past winners include Two and Half Men producer Chuck Lorre, actor Martin Short and actor Kelsey Grammer. Craig will take part in a question-and-answer session at the festival on June 11th, open only to festival attendees. The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported on the honor.

04 Hattie HayridgeLast year, Craig was looking out in to the audience at CBS Television City and spotted a familiar face, British comedienne Hattie Hayridge. She was in Los Angeles and decided to wait in a line for ticket and watch the show. Craig laughed and told her that instead of watching the show, she should perform on the show. Soon afterward, it happened. Below are Hattie’s performance on the Late Late Show and a later appearance on the UK web series Carpool, where she tells host Robert Llewellyn about how it happened.
