Craig to Host Who Panel
Craig Ferguson is one of America’s most visible Whovians. In honor of that distinction, he has been asked to host a Doctor Who panel at this year’s ComicCon in San Diego. He tweeted:

The website Uproxx.com put together a group of some of the funniest video clips with Craig and Geoff Peterson having fun on the show. The clips are fun to watch, but the article does not mention the name of Geoff’s puppeteer and voice, Josh Robert Thompson. Craig tweeted to help right the wrong:

Sharky Goodness
After getting his feet wet as host of “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel a couple of years ago, Craig Ferguson is now taking on a role behind the scenes, as executive producer of a new show for the network. The show, called Shark After Dark, will be a late-night talk show that will allow viewers or Shark Week to interact on social media, along the same lines as Talking Dead, which follows The Walking Dead on AMC. The website Zap2It.com reports that comedian Josh Wolf will host the program. The trade publication Variety goes into more detail about the phenomenon of having a “show after the show” for fans to get involved.

Drawing Old-Skull
The RSA’s @48Mickey48 got out her pencil and tablet and drew Geoff Peterson’s face in mid-laugh. At least we think he’s laughing… he could also be playing the mouth organ… the expression is pretty much the same.

Craig Gets Hot in Cleveland
Note: Link contains mild spoilers. As we’ve reported, Craig Ferguson will be making a guest appearance in the season finale of the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland. This week, TV Guide provides an inside look at the final episode, including a photo of Craig, not just as a priest but as a celebrity journalist who is also qualified to perform a wedding ceremony. The episode is scheduled to air July 24th.

Seeing Craig don his clerical garb for the upcoming season finale of Hot in Cleveland got us thinking about the last time Craig played a priest. In an interview from 1994, UK newspaper The Independent interviews Craig about his role in the short-lived musical Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom.

Bullying Site
Craig Ferguson has mentioned several times on the show that he was bullied as a child growing up in Scotland, carrying the nickname “Tubby,” for being overweight. The RSA’s @cozyhobo noticed that Craig’s story is mentioned on a website about bullying.

While Craig may have been bullied for being overweight, he doesn’t think a doctor should be sued for telling a patient they’re overweight.
