Deconstructing TV As Celebrity Name Game launches in its first week, media outlets across the country are talking about the new game show and its host, Craig Ferguson. The trade publication Variety posted a lengthy story this week, explaining Craig’s style of deconstructing familiar TV tropes and making them his own. Remembering Johnny He’s been gone from our televisions for more than 20 years, but Johnny Carson is still considered the undisputed king of late-night television. Now, a new podcast is focusing on Carson’s Tonight Show by interviewing former guests and behind-the-scenes co-workers. Hosted by comedian Mark Malkoff, the podcast has already lined up some impressive guests including Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Carol Burnett and more, plus current Late Late Show Executive Producer Peter Lassally.
