Spreading the Freshness
Rather than spending all of their new shows in one place, it appears that Craig Ferguson and the Late Late Show are spreading out the remaining “new” episodes to cover more of the August break.  The latest confirmed schedule from CBS shows that in addition to this week’s all new shows, next week will include three new episodes and two rebroadcasts of favorite shows from earlier in the year.  Details are below in the guest update.

More Studio 58 Memories
The RSA’s Dave sent us his Studio 58 memory, and you can too, using our Contact Us form or by sending us a link to your website or blog.  We enjoy giving the rest of the robot skeleton army a chance to read your stories!

[stextbox id=”custom”]We visited the Late Late Show for the first time a few years ago. When we got into the studio, we saw a block of seats up front that were empty. Then right before the show started Marion Ross (of Happy Days fame) sits down with some others. Marion was part of the opening and the closing. Only bad part is Craig didn’t cuss all night, he was on his best behavior in front of Marion. I still remember walking into the cold studio that first time and commenting on how small it really was. Great experience![/stextbox]

Craig in Vegas
Now that tickets have gone on sale, the website VegasNews.com has picked up on the news that Craig will be performing at the Venetian in September.  Thanks to the RSA’s @bgrhubarb for the link!

Tuesday on the Late Late Show, the only guest on the confirmed list is actress Rosie Perez.  On Wednesday, Craig welcomes actress Selma Blair and Mythbuster Adam Savage.

Guest Update

Carla Gugino

Chalk this one up to the Late Late Show zigging while others zag:  The week of August 6th-10th will feature three new shows and two encore presentations, and there are still enough guest segments in storage for three or four new shows that might air the following week.  Confirmed on the guest list for new shows are Stephen King, Dave Barry, The Rock Bottom Remainders, Rachel Ray, The Imagineers, Chris Hardwick and Carla Gugino.  We’ll also see rebroadcasts of shows with DJ Qualls, Wolfgang Puck, Steve Carell and Don Winslow.  You can see the latest listings on our Guests page.
