Happy Towel Day
Craig Ferguson tweeted Wednesday morning, wishing a happy Towel Day to his nearly 700 thousand followers:

Happy Towel Day to all the hoopy froods. http://t.co/h67QCUF . #towelday

So what is Towel Day, you may ask?  It is a celebration of the life and work of the late Douglas Adams, author of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and much more.  For more on the holiday, check out TowelDay.org and the Wikipedia entry about Adams.

The Storms Can Stop Any Time
More tornadic activity was reported in the country’s midsection today, including Missouri, Illinois and Indiana, although from what we have heard the damage was thankfully less than in recent days.  The work of rebuilding places like El Reno, Oklahoma and  Joplin, Missouri is just beginning, however.  More than five hundred people have died in storms across the United States this spring and thousands more are without homes, so your continued support is needed.  You can donate to the Red Cross on their website or by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make an instant $10 donation.

Tonight’s Guests
Wednesday’s Late Late Show includes the silly and the serious…  Craig talks with actor/comedian Norm MacDonald, National Public Radio foreign correspondent Julie McCarthy and music by singer Oh Land. Thursday, watch for actor/producer Seth Green and magician Lance Burton.

Added to the future guest list are Carla Gugino, Kevin Bacon and Wendy Williams.  See the most complete guest listings any time on our Guests page.
