{"id":12390,"date":"2011-10-06T02:22:14","date_gmt":"2011-10-06T02:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rsanews.com\/?p=12390"},"modified":"2011-10-07T02:17:28","modified_gmt":"2011-10-07T02:17:28","slug":"craig-ferguson-remote-ideas-wright","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rsanews.com\/new\/craig-ferguson-remote-ideas-wright\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"\"\"<\/a>New Places to Take the Show?<\/strong><\/span>\r\nEarlier this week, we looked back at Craig Ferguson<\/strong>‘s stand up comedy tour over the past couple of years.\u00c2\u00a0 We recapped where he has performed and came up with a few suggestions for new places he might try.\u00c2\u00a0 Since we were in a brainstorming mood, we wondered:\u00c2\u00a0 Now that Craig has taken the show on the road to Paris for a week, where else should he think about doing a week of episodes?\u00c2\u00a0 We hope that somewhere, deep the inner sanctum of CBS Television City, there have been discussions about taking the show out of Los Angeles again sometime.\r\n\r\n[stextbox id=”custom”]\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n1.\u00c2\u00a0 He remembers his time in New York fondly, so that might be a place to go… but hopefully on the street, Paris-style rather than in a theater.\r\n
\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n2.\u00c2\u00a0 Other big cities could be fun:\u00c2\u00a0 Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Denver or Washington, DC.\u00c2\u00a0 How about Cleveland and invite Drew Carey along?\r\n

\"\"<\/a>\r\n3.\u00c2\u00a0 We also think it would be interesting to do shows in a more remote place in America.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps in Reno, since he pokes fun at them and the set backdrop.\u00c2\u00a0 Or a quiet town in North Dakota or Arkansas.\r\n
\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n4.\u00c2\u00a0 Because Craig is now on Global TV in Canada, he could have a blast in Montreal; perhaps in the same week as the comedy festival.\r\n
\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n5.\u00c2\u00a0 Because he’s also on television every night in Australia, how about a week down under?\r\n
\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n6.\u00c2\u00a0 And finally, how incredible would it be for Craig to take us home to Scotland?\u00c2\u00a0 He could tell its stories like no one else… and would probably need a week for Glasgow alone!\r\n\r\nWhat do you think?\u00c2\u00a0 Are there other places Craig could take the show on the road?\u00c2\u00a0 Let us know in the comments below.\r\n\r\n[\/stextbox]\r\n\r\nPrematurely Crazy?<\/strong><\/span>\"\"<\/a>\r\nThe Huffington Post<\/a> lists “Cleveland Rocks” from the Drew Carey Show<\/em> as one of its favorite must listen-to theme songs of all time.\u00c2\u00a0 They mention how some of the cast have gone on to other projects, including Craig.\r\n\r\nGoing LA<\/strong><\/span>\r\nThe website Monsters and Critics<\/a> enjoyed actor Ioan Gruffudd<\/strong>‘s interview on the LLS Monday.\r\n\r\nThe Wright Man for the Job<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\nThe website AVClub.com<\/a> interviews comedian Steven Wright<\/strong>, who has nice things to say about Craig.\u00c2\u00a0 Thanks to the RSA’s @MissGraoully for the link.
