The show will return to New York and be broadcast from Rockefeller Plaza with Lorne Michaels<\/strong> as Executive Producer. Reporter Kim Masters<\/strong> broke the story in The Hollywood Reporter, which was finally confirmed by NBC after many days of speculation. Masters analyzed NBC’s decision<\/a>, and Bill Carter<\/strong> offers additional coverage in the New York Times<\/a>. There is no immediate work on Fallon’s successor on Late Night<\/em>, but an announcement is expected soon.\r\n\r\nUpdate: Josh Lands Role in Romantic Comedy\"05<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\r\nAccording to the Hollywood trade publication Variety<\/a>, Josh Robert Thompson<\/strong>, the voice of Geoff Peterson<\/strong>, has landed a role in an upcoming romantic comedy called Nowhere Girl<\/em>. Filming began Monday in the San Francisco area, Variety reports.\r\n\r\nUpdate: Doctor Who Wins Peabody<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\"07<\/a>\r\n\r\nBritish science fiction cult favorite Doctor Who<\/em> has received the prestigious Peabody Award<\/a>. The show took home the “Institutional Award,” appropriate for the show now entering its 50th year. The Late Late Show won the Peabody in 2008 for Craig’s interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu<\/strong>.\r\n
