In the earliest days, after Geoff was built by the Mythbusters<\/em> Grant Imahara<\/strong>, the robot skeleton’s voice was pre-recorded by Craig, with a Dalek-style electronic sound. Then, Josh improved on the concept by creating a pre-recorded voice based loosely on Star Trek’s George Takei<\/strong>, cartoon icon Snagglepuss<\/strong> and other influences. And after a while, it became apparent that having the sidekick able to respond in the moment would be more funny and more effective, Josh was brought in full-time. On Saturday, Josh tweeted his thanks:\r\n
