He told the Huffington Post<\/a> that he’s not retiring from the business and will be looking for new opportunities. Carter has been the leading journalist reporting on late-night television for his 25 years at the times and at the Baltimore Sun before that. His books about the hosts of The Tonight Show<\/em> are considered the best accounts of the struggles between David Letterman<\/strong>, Jay Leno<\/strong>, Conan O’Brien<\/strong> and NBC. He has also written several nice things about Craig over the years.
