As we reported last month<\/a>, the half-hour show will focus on an up-and-coming producer named Jake (played by Kyle Howard<\/strong>) trying to deal with the crazy host of a TV game show named Toby (played by Craig). Deadline.com<\/a> reports Caitlin McGee<\/strong> and Eugene Cordero<\/strong> have also been cast. Uproxx.com<\/a> and The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> have written about the show. THR notes in its Guide To Pilot Season<\/a> that Crunch Time<\/em> is one of 14 comedy pilots getting a look from NBC this year. One show, called Good Place<\/em>, starring Kristen Bell<\/strong> and Ted Danson<\/strong>, has already been given a 13-episode order. Another, called Imaginary Friend<\/em>, which won the network’s “Playground Comedy Initiative,” and is executive produced by Sean Hayes<\/strong> of Will and Grace<\/em> fame, is expected to get strong consideration. Production for the Crunch Time<\/em> pilot will be at NBC Universal in Los Angeles, and is scheduled for April 11, and April 16-22.\r\n\r\nInfluential Bands<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\"Join<\/a>The “History’s Most Influential Bands” episode of Join Or Die<\/em> got plenty of attention last week, with lots of people joining in the conversation. Craig set the tone early with his opening monologue<\/a>, talking about bands he thought should have been included on the list and couple he thought should have been left off. The the show’s guests got into the heated discussion<\/a>, and even Rolling Stone<\/a> magazine wrote about the episode.\r\n\r\nAlmost Live!\"CF<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\r\nAfter recording a segment for Live with Kelly and Michael<\/em> back in February, the segment finally aired.
