He wrote on his Facebook page:\r\n
This week I officially signed a development deal for my comedy\/variety series, “The Josh Robert Thompson Show.” This happened one year to the day of our incredible Los Angeles premiere. A huge thank you to my entire cast and crew for elevating this pilot beyond anything I originally had in mind. Special thanks to superstar producer Tim Smith and director\/editor Kamell Allaway for expertly guiding this space ship. And to the fans for helping to finish the job with a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign. This show is as much yours as it is mine. Take it from me, no matter what happens, no matter what anyone tells you: NEVER GIVE UP.<\/div>\r\nHaving the deal means Josh will now have more backing to shop his show around to television networks and other platforms and may have the opportunity to produce more episodes to follow the pilot.
