{"id":3492,"date":"2011-01-14T03:15:40","date_gmt":"2011-01-14T03:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/\/?p=3492"},"modified":"2011-03-01T04:58:09","modified_gmt":"2011-03-01T04:58:09","slug":"craig-ferguson-does-this-need-to-be-said-announcement-epix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rsanews.com\/new\/craig-ferguson-does-this-need-to-be-said-announcement-epix\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":" <\/span>\"\"<\/a>It’s a big news day!\u00c2\u00a0 As we first reported Thursday morning, the hollowed out volcano is buzzing about the release date for Craig Ferguson<\/strong>‘s newest stand up comedy special, Does This Need to be Said? <\/em>Here is the most complete information we have so far, gathered throughout the day:\r\n\r\nRELEASE DATE: <\/strong>The special, which is being produced from Craig’s shows in Nashville back in November and featuring material from his 2010 stand up tour, will first be made available on the Epix premium cable channel and streamed online at EpixHD.com on Saturday, February 19th, 2011. *(See below for details about Epix)\r\n\r\nNETFLIX RELEASE: <\/strong> If you are a Netflix subscriber, the special will be on Netflix on or about May 21st, due to a 90-day delay deal between Epix and Netflix.\r\n\r\nDVD RELEASE:<\/strong> DVD sales have not yet been announced but are expected later this spring.\r\n\r\nPREVIEW VIDEO: <\/strong> Before the Nashville shows, the Epix shot a number of interviews with Craig and several fans.\u00c2\u00a0 They are editing preview videos leading up to the show’s release.\u00c2\u00a0 The first of those videos, which has familiar roboskelly faces can be seen here<\/a><\/span>.\u00c2\u00a0 They say more are on the way, featuring more Craig fans… as more are released, we’ll keep you posted!\u00c2\u00a0 If the video seems jerky, remember that it is shot in HD, which takes a lot of megabytes.\u00c2\u00a0 Try pausing it just as it starts and letting it load (watch the light gray bar along the bottom) before pressing play again.\r\n\r\nWHAT IS EPIX?:<\/strong> *If you’re not familiar with Epix (pronounced like “epics”, it is a premium movie channel, similar to HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, etc. and also has an on-demand feature. The channel offers films from Paramount, MGM and Lionsgate Entertainment, which are its joint owners.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
