Craig is taking a well-deserved weekend off. He’ll be performing in Las Vegas in a couple of weeks but no world domination plans are on the schedule for now. We chose a photo from Prince Charles’ Rather Late Programme<\/span> with a nod to Thursday’s elections in the UK which resulted in no party having a clear majority. It is unclear if a coalition can be built or whether a new election will be needed. We wish good luck to our UK friends as a new government is formed.

Thanks also to our readers who responded to the call for donations to the American Red Cross<\/a>, to help those affected by the flooding in Tennessee, Kentucky and other nearby areas. It appears the worst may be over but it will take some time to restore property and get lives back to normal.

As you may have read here, Craig and the Late Late Show recently won the George Foster Peabody Award, one of the highest honors for excellence in broadcasting. The award was specifically for an interview he conducted with Archbishop Desmond Tutu but as Craig points out in the video clip below, the interview has changed the entire show for for the better.
